How do we secure our date?

Your date is secured the moment we receive a signed agreement and retainer. Until then, the date is held tentatively. Dates go in the order they're booked, so if you have one in mind, check it above and tell us — we'll confirm the same day whether it's still open.

What is your travel policy?

Local travel within the Chicago area is included with every session. For weddings outside our local area, we'll provide a simple travel quote with your proposal. Destination weddings? Let's talk.

Do you photograph non-wedding sessions?

Absolutely. Portraits are our specialty — seniors, graduates, personal branding, families, maternity, newborn, and engagements. We also accept select commercial and editorial commissions.

What equipment do you shoot with?

Professional full-frame bodies with redundant card slots, paired with fast prime and zoom lenses and dual off-camera lighting. We carry backups of everything — because your session doesn't get a second take.

How do we receive and share our images?

Through a private, password-protected online gallery hosted on Pixieset — beautiful, fast and mobile-friendly. You can download every image in full resolution, mark your favorites and share the gallery with family. The files are yours to print wherever you like.

Are the images delivered in high resolution?

Always. Every final image is hand-retouched and delivered in full high resolution, big enough to print large. We also provide web-optimized versions for sharing, and a sneak peek within two weeks of your session.

Do you photograph small or non-traditional weddings?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Some weddings are full-day celebrations. Some are intimate ceremonies at church. Some don't have a traditional reception at all. We photograph the day you actually have — not somebody else's idea of a wedding.

Do you offer shorter portrait sessions?

Yes. Not everyone needs a long session. We offer different session lengths to fit different needs and budgets. Tell us what you're planning and we'll help you choose the right option.

Do you photograph headshots for a whole team?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A single headshot in our studio is $350 — about 45 minutes, on-screen proofing as we shoot, and three hand-retouched finals. For teams we come to your office with our own lighting: $1,200 covers up to eight people with two finals each, then $125 per person after that. Everyone is photographed against the same background under the same light, so your team page looks like one set rather than eight different photos. You see the proofs the next business day and the retouched files within five business days — extra retouched images are $45 each.

Do you offer albums?

Yes — and we think you should hold your story in your hands. Our Heirloom Album is bound by hand, with thick layflat spreads printed on true photographic paper. You choose the cover — leather, linen or suede — and how your names are pressed into it. A 10×10 with 20 spreads starts at $750, including layout design and a matching presentation box. Copies for parents can be added.

How does wedding pricing work?

The Premiere Wedding starts at $2,900 with a 4-hour minimum, and every added hour is $400. Need the whole day? The Signature Wedding is $4,500 for 8 hours, and The Legacy Wedding is $5,800 for 10 hours — including a $750 Heirloom Album credit. The full-day collections also include an engagement session. Both photographers are always included, and local Chicago travel is on us.
